Ever go anywhere in the spring?
Where'd you go, what'd you do, what'd you see?
Was is somewhere new, Maybe the Lincoln Park Zoo
With the monkeys all hanging in the trees?  

Did you smell flowers at the Botanic Gardens
Ride bikes through the forest on the trails?
Or swing on swings after the school bell rings
and go digging in the dirt for snails?
 
You can spend an hour in the Willis Tower
and see people that are small as ants
Or make your way to the St. Patrick's Day Parade
And watch the Trinity Dancers dance!

Ever go anywhere in the summertime
Where'd you go, what'd you do, what'd you see?
You can have a blast on Ravinia's grass
and splash at North Avenue Beach

Or did you take the El to Wrigley Field
and finally see the Cubbies win a game?
Play at Millennium park till the sky turns dark
and jump in the water by the Bean!

If you go to Grant Park to the Taste of Chicago
You can eat and eat and      eat all day 
or come sing and dance and bounce along while
Super Stolie and the Rockstars play

and hope that your toes wouldn't freeze
And wish you were are home, curled up on the couch
with  Channel 11's Check Please?
